SkyBell, Google’s Nest, Vivint and ADT make it to the top 5 in 2021

Boston, June 22, 2022–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Amazon’s Ring sold more than 1.7 million video doorbells in 2021 to expand its lead over its competitors and enable the company to cement itself at the top of the video doorbell market as Strategy Analytics reports, “Video Doorbell Global Market Share – June 2022”.

Global 2021 Video Doorbell Market Share by Consumer Units Sold, Source: Strategy Analytics’ Global Smart Home Devices Forecast, 2022

Strategy Analytics estimates that the top five video doorbell brands globally by the end of 2021 are: Ring, Skybell, Google’s Nest, smart home provider Vivint and ADT. These five companies combined sold more than 3.5 million doorbell cameras, or about 30 percent of the 12 million video doorbells sold to consumers globally in 2021, Strategy Analytics estimates. Of 1.4 million units, Ring sold approximately as many video doorbells. Combined as SkyBell, Nest, Vivint and ADT in 2021. Tier 2 companies Remo+, Arlo, SimplySafe, Wyze and Zmodo made it to the top 10 globally.
