Now we’re getting a little bit of both—one headed to action hero/classic sci-fi robot Call of Duty: Vanguard And warzone In season 4. The Terminator—played by Arnold Schwarzenegger—is coming to games soon, though Activision hasn’t revealed an exact date.
This was disclosed on Twitter.
Earlier today, the Call of Duty Twitter account posted a picture with gold bars and a silver bar. The theme of the upcoming Season 4 is Mercenaries of Fortune, and the promotional campaign features loot and treasure. There were some letters on the silver rod, although they were quite faint.
Still, it was clear the word was SKYNET and this was later confirmed with a tweet that read ‘they’ll be back’ – a departure from Arnold’s classic line. Skynet, of course, is the company responsible for the bad AI in the Terminator movies. Are we just getting the terminator operator or any other characters from the movies yet to be seen.
